About The Empire Open Math Contest
The Empire Open Math Contest is a math contest open to all adults (and kids as well) meant to offer the fun and challenge of olympiad style math problem solving to all ages. Our long term goal is to eventually offer a series of contests ranging from beginner to IMO/Putnam difficulty (And even beyond that if possible) that folks of all ages can enjoy.
The 2026 contest will be held on Saturday June 20, 2026 in Manhattan, NY. Save the date and stay tuned for more info!

This contest was held in August 2023 in Chelsea NY . It featured a tricky mix of problems ranging from medium AMC-12 to harder AIME difficulty. Special thanks to Terence Coelho, PhD student at Rutgers for contributing some of the problems. The problems can be found here . The solutions can be found here .
